E-Bike Conversions & Upgrades

We offer a bespoke conversion service that allows you to convert your (suitable) bike of choice into a fully functioning E-Bike!

  • Hub Drive (or Direct Drive) motors are neatly located within the centre of a wheel.

They are preferably fitted to the back wheel but are sometimes found in the front.

In most cases, the said wheel is replaced with a pre-built or custom built motorised wheel.

This type of E-Conversion is simple, efficient, low maintenance and (can be) low cost.

Hub motors can be found on thousands of courier and commuter bikes. Types are also found on new, high end road E-Bikes!

In addition to the motor: a suitable controller, battery and a number of sensors are required to make the E-Bike function.

All required items can be bought in kits. We reccomend conversion kits starting at £350.

Fitting & Setup starts at £100.

  • Mid Drive motors are located at the Bottom Brakcet (or ‘near the pedals’) of a bike.

The extra weight of a motor is kept central to the frame with this design.

In most cases, a Mid Drive unit will completely replace the bottom brakcet and chainset of a bicyle.

This type of E-Conversion is a much more versatile option when it comes to MTB’s and trail riding due to its utilisation of gears, allowing for a wider power band.

Mid drive units can be found on most high end ‘branded’ MTB’s and on E-Conversions taylored towards versatility.

In addition to the motor: a suitable controller, battery and a number of sensors are required to make the E-Bike function.

All required items can be bought in kits. We reccomend Mid-Drive conversion kits starting at £650.

Fitting & Setup starts at £130.
